Do you haul away the debris?
Yes — demolition and cleanout jobs include haul-away and proper disposal in the quote, not a pile left at the curb.
Do bigger remodeling jobs need a permit?
It depends on scope. A single tiling job or a targeted exterior repair usually doesn't. A kitchen or bath gutted to the studs, or anything touching structure, often does — and it's worth confirming your contractor is properly registered before signing anything.
